Employees off site…

Our Site foreman Chris is off on a track day at Donnington Park today, We’re all a bit nervous for him but wish him the Best Of Luck and hope you qualify to ride in Portugal!

He’s taken another of our employees Steve along as his support team so we’re a bit thin on the ground today, considering banning employees taking the day off together!

Let’s hope he is more successful with a motor attached to his bike than he was on mountain bike a few weeks ago at mountain mayhem! We think Chris became the first person to run all of his laps of that course pushing his bike!

Our men are on site in Brecon this week preparing for the arrival of a HDG compact 200 kW boiler next week!

We’ve been wonderfully busy the last few months, installing boilers all over Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, we’ve even had new team members join the company!

Stefan Carr – Quantity Surveyor – has joined our office and quotations team as our Quantity & Estimates manager.

Ryan has joined our team of installers and Callum has joined us as an apprentice as he goes into his second year of heating & plumbing at Hereford Tech college.

We are very pleased to have them on board and looking forward to the future.

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE RANCH…(as the boss would say)…

One of our install teams has been in Gloucestershire installing a Compact 200 Pellet boiler into a farm house and office for the commercial renewable heat incentive.

Lower Hope Farm joins the world of renewables!

This week sees the handover of the new Compact 200 Woodchip boiler system at Lower Hope Farm.

The system is installed and commissioning and the RHI application is submitted and they are ready to go!

Alun will be going out to site to carry out handover and train their operatives on the boiler and all will be complete 🙂

Wiggle Mountain Mayhem

Our Boiler distributors Euroheat sponsored 4 mountain bike teams at mountain mayhem this weekend.

A 24 hours mountain bike event over a 7.4 mile course. Teams of 10 have to take it in turns to ride the loop for 24 hours straight.

Euroheat Hwam Stoves had Efficient Energy representatives Matthew Burch & Andy Williams riding for them and placed 8th! Top 10 for a non biking company is no mean feat, with Andy setting the teams record of a 40 minute lap!

Euroheat Rika Stoves team had Efficient Energy Centre installers Steve Crowe and Chris Tyler riding from them….we think Chris may well have been the only biker to have to run the course pushing his bike TWICE! A puncture and a broken chain saw to it that he didn’t break any records!

A great weekend and a brilliant way to motivate all working as part of the Euroheat family! It’s nice to get to meet other installers from around the country.

I regularly ask our installers to send me some pictures of where they are working so that I can put them on the blog, they were obviously all in a good mood in the nice weather and sent me an installer selfie!

The photo shows our installers Chris and Steve with our new apprentice Callum.

Efficient Energy Centre’s First M400 Installation!

This week has seen the delivery of the first M400 boiler that Efficient Energy Centre have installed, and in our installers words, ‘IT’S A BEAST!’

Here you can see our installers Chris and Steve, 6ft1 and 6ft3 looking short next to the boiler.

This 400 kW boiler will be providing heating to Chicken Sheds in Shrewsbury alongside their existing installation of 2 x 199 kW boilers, all run on Wood chip.

More warmth for the Chickens!

A chicken farm in Shrewsbury who we installed 2 x Compact 200 Woodchip boilers for back in 2011, have been so pleased with their installation that they now have us back installing an extra M400 boiler to heat more chicken sheds!

We have launched our new showroom!!
