The office dog is useless in this heat! One Hot Dog!

It’s a busy summer period at the Efficient Energy Centre..
After such a long winter, we finally have sunshine 🙂 Boiler installations do not stop mind you, many people want their systems up and running ready for September/October time so we’re all hard at work as usual!
This week one of our installation teams have been installing a HDG Euro 50 kW boiler with a 4000 litre accumulator, the installation is providing heating and hot water for the main house, some offices and a workshop.

Perfect weather for Solar Generation!
Our men are all making the most of the sunshine this week, up on the scaffolding installing solar panels on a new build in Ledbury.
All of our PV systems are working to full capacity this week in this beautiful weather…lots of happy customers!
Hwam Monet with a back boiler
A contemporary stove in a traditional fire place in Bosbury has created a lovely centre piece for one of our customers homes this week!
The stove has been connected to a thermal store and has a 3 kW back boiler so that when the customer is enjoying the warmth and comfort of their wood burning stove they are also heating their water! The gas boiler is also included in the system as a back up for when the stove is not in use.
A very attractive installation if we do say so ourselves!

All Work and No Play…
…makes for a very dull life, so the Bosses took a Holiday last week and I was left to hold the fort!
A week in Crete…it’s alright for some! Water skiing, sunbathing and the odd cocktail I believe. Don’t worry, he’s been back a few days and feels like he never left us!

Working Hard in Church Stretton
A team from Efficient Energy Centre have been busy this week installing a HDG Navora log boiler to supply heating and hot water to a property in Church Stretton.
The Boiler house is a nice wooden clad building with a wood storage area attached. It will all look very smart when finished.
It’s been a long old winter…and we’re not quite sure it’s over!
We’ve been waiting for Winter to draw to a close so that we can carry out all of our installed boilers annual major services. However it doesn’t seem like it’s about to warm up any more than this so we couldn’t leave them any longer!
One of our teams of men have spent the last few weeks servicing boilers, each day they turn back up at the office looking like they have spent the day up a chimney!
We are proud to be able to offer all of our customers on going care with their boiler for it’s lifetime, we have been able to build fantastic customer relationships up over the years so our customers always know that they will be taken care of.
We carry out a minor service on all of our boilers in September also, preparing them for the winter ahead.
Biomass, Solar and now a heat pump…it’s all happening at Bacton!
This week one of our teams have been busy installing an air source heat pump for a customer who has already used Efficient Energy Centre to install a Biomass Boiler and a Commercial Solar Photovoltaic Array.

Keeping ahead of the rest!
We regularly send our men off on additional training courses to keep them ahead on installation techniques, standards and requirements.
Euroheat’s Biomass training centre is a great help when it comes to keeping us all up to date. This week we have two of our men on courses, Ed is renewing his Gas Safety Certification and Chris his HETAS.

Work continues at Coddington..
With both cabins now successfully in place work has begun to get the systems ready to go!
The Energy Cabins
are a modular approach to simplifying the installation, your complete heating system arrives on the back of a lorry and is unloaded straight to site, the larger models like these even come with the fuel store and fuel delivery system built in! All we then have to do is connect a cold water supply and a heating flow and return and electricity and you are up and running!
The pellet delivery has even arrived, the cabins are nearly ready to be commissioned and then it’s all systems go!
