Diary of an Installation – From our installers point of view
Day 1 – The boiler and equipment was delivered to site at 9am, we offloaded and positioned all of the equipment and checked with our customer that everything was okay and that he was happy – He was 🙂
We then prepared everything ready for the pipework.
Day 2 – Today we piped up the flow and return from the boiler to the accumulator. We then started the flow and return to the system pipework and fitted the flue starter kit ready to do the flue tomorrow.
Day 3 – We fitted the flue to the boiler and weathered in the Dektite to the roof, then started running drains around the room.
Day 4 – Today consisted of piping the mains feed and piping drains and PRV. We fitted the expansion vessel and changed the district pipework to a bigger size. Our Electrician was busy wiring up the boiler.
Day 5 – We Piped the district to the existing heating pipework and fitted the 3 port valve to the existing so that the customer has a back up boiler on his system.
Alun visited site along with Steve Crowe and commissioned the boiler.
Day 6 – Today we cleaned up the site and boiler room and lagged all of the pipework.
Day 7 – The Final Day!! Handover of the boiler took place with the customer, he was given the handover folder and documents on the entire system, he was trained on the use of the boiler and is good to go.
Nice and easy and little fuss for the customer 🙂
